Britova helps you practise for the Life in the UK Test. There is no account, and your answers and progress stay on your phone.

Britova is not affiliated with the UK Government or the Home Office. It is an independent study app. To book the Life in the UK Test, or for the official rules, go to gov.uk/life-in-the-uk-test.
Your progress never leaves your device. The questions, the study notes, your answers, your mastery of each chapter, your mock test history, your test date and your reminder time are all stored on the phone itself. Britova has no server that receives them and no account to sign in to.
The daily reminder is a notification scheduled on the phone itself. No push token is created and nothing is sent to a server to deliver it. Britova asks for permission to show notifications only when you choose a reminder time.
Britova sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, an analytics service, so we can see which screens people reach and where they stop. These events never contain the text of a question or of your answers, and never contain your test date. They carry things like a chapter name, whether an answer was right, a mock test score, and how long something took.

We do not ask for your name, e-mail address or phone number, and there is no sign-up. We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not show ads, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
Britova Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether you have Pro. It receives an anonymous identifier and the purchase receipt from the store, nothing else. On iPhone, RevenueCat also receives Apple's AdServices attribution token, which says only whether the install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign; it contains no personal identifier and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Britova is made for adults preparing for the Life in the UK Test. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects what is collected, note it in the app's release notes.
By installing or using Britova you agree to these terms. Britova is published by Monexa LLC. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Britova is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the UK Government, the Home Office, or the organisations that run or publish material for the Life in the UK Test. Test names are used only to describe what the app helps you prepare for.
Every question, answer, explanation and study note in Britova is written by us, in our own words, from the topics covered by the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents (3rd edition). They are not the questions of the real test, which are not published, and they do not reproduce the handbook's text. Each question links to a public source for its answer. The official handbook remains the reference for the test; where Britova and the handbook differ, the handbook is right, and we would be grateful if you told us.
Britova helps you practise; it cannot sit the test for you. The mock tests follow the real test's published format (24 questions, 45 minutes, 18 correct answers to pass), and the readiness score is our own estimate of how much of the question bank you have mastered. Neither is a prediction of your result, and we do not guarantee that you will pass the Life in the UK Test.
You may use Britova for your own study on devices you own or control.
Britova Pro is offered as a weekly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The price shown in the app is the price for your country, in your currency, taken live from the store; it is never stored in the app.
The weekly subscription renews automatically at the end of each week unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Cancel any time in your App Store account settings or Google Play subscriptions, not in Britova, because we cannot cancel it for you. The lifetime purchase is a single payment and never renews. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies.
Britova is provided as is. We check every question against public sources, but facts, rules and the test itself can change, and mistakes can happen. To the extent permitted by law, Monexa LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including a failed test or a test fee.
You may stop using Britova at any time by deleting it. We may suspend the app for a user who breaches these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Britova by Monexa LLC has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to close.
Apple and Google keep their own receipt of any purchase. We do not control those records; you can manage them in your Apple ID or Google Play account.
